A day in the program

The daily schedule.

High-energy mornings, deep build afternoons, and an open optional evening. Same shape every day, different work each day. Available weeks: June 22nd–26th and July 20th–26th. Each week is identical in workshops, and teams will work on different projects each week — attending both weeks is available for those who want to experience the program again.

FAQs.

What is the purpose of this event?
Alpha High Summer gives students the chance to connect with other Alpha high school students from across the country, preview the Alpha High experience, and take part in a weeklong hackathon-style program.
Who is this for?
All current and incoming Alpha high school students nationwide.
When is this happening?
We are offering two weeklong sessions: June 22–26 and July 20–24. Both sessions cover the same workshops and programming.
What is the cost?
All program tools and materials are covered, as well as lunch and dinner each day. Families are responsible for any travel and housing costs.
What is a sample daily schedule?
Each day runs from 8:30am to 4:00pm. Mornings focus on academics, followed by a short workshop block, and a longer AlphaX build block. Each day wraps up with reflection and closing.
What after-school activities will be offered?
Just like during the school year, the school building will stay open till 8pm each evening. We also will have organized team activities on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
